Dave's latest puzzle is based on the innovative and wonderfully themed Aqua+ puzzle from fba8. Dave's version of the puzzle is in the basic prism form that is natural for the geometry. The Sticker color chosen pays homage to fba8's theme.
The puzzle turns on two abyssal cut axes, and one origin cut axis. Turns on all three axes need to be made to truly scramble the puzzle. Although you can't see the axles with this puzzle (which is why I didn't make a model highlighting the axles, as I did with PrisMad5 Prismatic), the core of the puzzle does show through here. Between that and the bandaging, it is relatively easy to see where the turns are allowed, even when the origin cut axis is used.
This beautiful puzzle is printed in ABS material and then vapor smoothed with acetone. It comes fully assembled and stickered.
